This annual panel about comics journalism will look at the how-tos: how to break in, how to act professionally, how to make money (against all odds), and whether or not writing about comics and pop culture is a stepping stone to making comics or accessing other professional gigs. Writing for fanzines/websites has traditionally been a path to working in the industry, and today there are more options than ever, but it's also harder to get noticed. Panelists will also look at how writing about comics has become a far more diverse field. Comics journalism isn't dead yet, and here's the proof!
